Can I bring a musical instrument into the Festival?
Yes you can. We will provide you with tags for your instrument and case at the entrance. There is a cloakroom where a few instruments can be stored during the show however the organisers and the venue cannot accept responsibility for theft or damage to instruments bought into the conference. We strongly advise that you insure your instruments at all times.
Can I play the guitars on display?
Apart from some very expensive and rare guitars most can be played and drooled over.
Who puts the line-up together?
The Guitar Nation Live and learn programme is put together by The Artistic Director in conjunction with our sponsors and promotions advisors. The programme seeks to strike a balance between topical events that are important to musicians and more general inspirational interests hat include performance and clinics.
Where is the live stage, seminars and masterclasses taking place?
The "Live and learn" floor is above the main exhibition. You will need a £20 'Live and Learn' ticket or a Steve Vai masterclass VIP ticket to gain access. Access is via stairs at the back of the main exhibition hall.
Can I visit Guitar Nation Live if I don’t live in the UK?
Yes of course? Guitar Nation Live welcomes visitors from all over the World. This is your chance to sit in the same room as your musical heroes and discover how changes to the way music is made and distributed. This information will apply to musicians the Wold over. However we cannot issue letters of invitation for VISA applications.
Are there cloakroom facilities at Olympia?
There are cloakroom facilities in the venue. There is limited space for storage of instruments or cases and works on first come first served basis.
Are dogs allowed into the show?
Only guide dogs are allowed in the show.
Can I book passes on the Phone?
Yes you can on 0844 3380338. This is a 24hour booking facility.
Do I have to queue up with everybody else if I have purchased a ticket in advance?
You do have to queue but it will be a very short wait before the doors open at 10.00am each day.
Where can I get a Festival guide?
Festival guides are only available at the door.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes you can although you may have to queue a short time. |
